The investigation covers 2002 and ’03 models. The two vehicles sold a combined 418,381 units in 2003, although sales of the big SUVs have dropped in subsequent years. NHTSA said there have been 16 reports of leakage from the vehicles’ fuel pump module, apparently caused by corrosion.
