Kia Motors America ups Len Hunt as new President/CEO

It's a good day for the executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Kia, Len Hunt, today. The reason being that he is no longer in his position. Kia Motors America announced that it will be promoting Hunt as the new President and chief executive officer of Kia Motors America. Hunt replaces B.G. Lee with the new position.

"This decision reflects a solid vote of confidence in the leadership of Len Hunt," said E.S. Chung, president and CEO of Kia Motors Corporation (KMC). "He has put together and empowered a team of seasoned professionals to help Kia flexibly meet the changing U.S. market situation, and he is the right choice to lead the company going forward."

We look forward to the things in store with Len Hunt as the new boss. Chance of the cee'd replacing the aging, but respected Spectra in North America? We have a lot of questions and we also expect a lot of answers in the coming years.

Mr. Hunt, I do hope you will be better at customer service than Mr. Lee was. Letters to the company have gone unanswered. I do hope you realize that "customer service rules".

I am tired of wearing my "KIAs SUCK" t-shirt. Light bulbs need replacing every month, clocks don't work, mini-vans don't start, etc. All this adds up to complete owner frustration, leading to anger, leading to high blook pressure, leading to downright hatefulness. That's not how it all started, which was in good faith and giving the company the benefit of the doubt.

Anyhow--Mr. Hunt, a resonse from you would be appreciated.

By the way, CONGRATULATIONS.

Mr.Hunt
Service Action 21 HAVE THEY FORGOTTEN ABOUT PEOPLES SAFETY panic horn sounds like kids toy. I took KIA Sedona in for 30,000mile service and there was a recall that they had to fix and it might change the sound of the horn a bit. Wow what a surprise! We got the car back and went to the mall where I locked the door’s, I didn’t here any thing and I walked back (35'-50')and pressed the button again for the first time and the horn was bad! Both my wife and myself are disabled and hope the panic horn is never needed in an emergency because it won’t be of much use. I was to keep the battery from going dead . My wife and I are really hoping that KIA is working on their oversight. For our safety as well as many others KIA Owners. Greg 1apanii@gmail.com

My husband went to Kia to have a recall part replaced for the 3rd time and a oil, filter change. The service manager was very short and nasty. My husband is certified to inspect cars, and fix them. When he returned home he decided to check and see if the work was done. Listen up they did not change oil or relace filter. They send a notice to have it changed every 3thousand miles. However kia says every 75oo. He reported with police and attorney general for starters. So word to the wise check and see if the work was indead done!
