2013 Kia K9 Officially Revealed

After a flurry of new spy shots, showing the car camo-free for the first time, surfaced on the web yesterday, Kia officially lifted the veils off its highly anticipated rear-wheel drive luxury sedan today – officially named ‘K9′ as it has been widely speculated.

The K9 aptly follows the company’s alphanumeric naming strategy for the South Korean market, being a segment above the K7 (Cadenza) that serves the front-wheel drive luxury segment.

Kia hasn’t released any details about the K9 in the company’s press release, other than the fact that the K9 will arrive in South Korean showrooms in the first half of this year.

We will keep you posted on the latest official word from the company as it streams in. For now, share with us your thoughts on the K9 in the comments section below.

Kia, through the styling and value content the brand represents, is on a major roll. The bottom line is this, the K9 is a game changer and will rock the 35 to 50$K market in the States. I can’t wait!!!

The exterior looks really good, however the interior is not up to par it seems, based on the spy shots I have seen. Hopefully the final materials are class leading.
